# Mystic Coders

> We code fire. Boutique AI/ML consultancy and embedded team extension founded in 2000 by Andrew Lombardi. Principal-level engineers who drop into your codebase, ship production software, and leave your team better than we found it. No handoffs, no body shop, no offshore juniors.

Mystic Coders is a US-based LLC headquartered in Laguna Beach, California. We operate as a small, senior team — not a staffing agency. Engagements run time-and-materials, typically 1-3 engineers for 3-6 months. NDAs are standard. We use AI tools daily and we know exactly what they get wrong — which is why the Vibe Check service exists.

Four services: AI/ML Engineering (computer vision, NLP, pipelines, edge/on-device), Embedded Team Extension (principal engineers who join your standups from day one), Vibe Check (fixed-scope audit of AI-generated codebases with a prioritized remediation plan), and Fractional CTO (architecture, team building, vendor and AI evaluation).
